BIO 5225 - Systematics
(3-2-3) The course provides a comprehensive survey of the theory and methodology of biological systematics as currently practiced. The course emphasizes practical experience in the acquisition and analysis of systematic data, understanding of biological patterns in the context of phylogenetic hypotheses, and hands-on experience using several computer programs in systematic studies. Prerequisites and Notes 16 semester hours of biological science.
